Overview: Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is a collection of 468 holes of championship golf on 11 sites across Alabama. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is managed by Sunbelt Golf Corporation. Sunbelt’s philosophy from the very beginning was to build the finest collection of public golf courses in the world and run them as a successful business investment.
Located in the southeast corner of Alabama, Highland Oaks offers three 9-hole championship courses as well as the 9-hole Short Course. The Highlands/Magnolia combination was named by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” as one of the nation’s Great Value courses. This 36-hole complex features some of the longest and most classically designed holes on the Trail. Each nine has a different personality. The re-grassing of the championship nines with Tif Eagle Ultradwarf greens was completed in 2020, as was the redesign of the practice area with new short game and putting greens. Highland Oaks annually hosts qualifying schools for LPGA, Korn Ferry and Mackenzie Tours.
The ideal Sunbelt Golf Team Member:
- Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Can compute simple math and count change accurately.
- Take, prepare, and deliver drink and food orders for customers.
- Enters patron’s orders into the computer, verify accuracy of order, collect payment when finished.
- Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the dining area.
- Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.
- Assists other areas of the club as needed.
- Able to obtain a food handler’s permit or certification.
