Robert Pike Construction, a growing residential excavation and utility contractor, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on excavation, water, sewer, paving, and concrete projects. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires operating equipment, managing job sites, and ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, industry certifications, and the ability to oversee projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily jobsite activities for excavation, water/sewer, paving, and concrete projects.
• Operate machinery and trucks as needed to support field operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company protocols.
• Coordinate with crew members, subcontractors, and management to meet project deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily records, including work completed, hours, and materials used.
• Serve as the point of contact on-site for problem-solving and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in excavation, utility, or related construction work.
• Hoisting license and CDL required.
• Valid medical card for truck driving.
• Knowledge of water and sewer installations, excavation, paving, and concrete.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and lead by example

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Monday - Friday.
• Overtime available as needed.
• On-call availability 24/7 for emergency response projects.

Work Location

• Onsite at various residential project locations.
• Must be able to travel locally to job sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.40 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
