Robert Madden Industries, a leading distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies, is seeking a motivated sales professional to the join the outside sales team in our Houston location.
The Territory Manager will be responsible for implementing sales and account strategies as set out by management; cultivating long-term relationships with key account decision makers; delivering professional sales presentations; soliciting new customers/contractors to increase demand for products; carrying out sales objectives; working closely with local manufacturing reps to identify, target and call on key players; maintaining sales reports and forecasts.
Sales Initiatives are as follows:
- Has an understanding of the residential HVAC business segments.
- Carries out sales objectives in order to achieve market penetration in various segments/territories to specifically promote each product line.
- Works closely with local manufacturing reps for ongoing product knowledge, and to identify potential customer targets
- establishes and builds ongoing business relationships.
- Implements sales and account strategies as set out by management, in accordance with department goals;
- Implements plans and support for strategic accounts within specified territory in order to exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty
- Cultivates long-term relationships with key account decision makers; develops a
complete understanding of the organization's structure and key buying influences of assigned account.
- Delivers professional sales presentations, utilizing product samples and PowerPoint slides to various individuals, including but not limited to cross functional teams, builders, developers, code officials, educators, contractors, etc. in order to advance market growth

Increases demand for company's products by soliciting new customer/contractor calls;
- maintains a cycle of regularly scheduled calls and visits to customers; including potential job site visits.
- Travels to various locations to provide ongoing training and support as requested or needed

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP and CRM.
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3-5 years of productive HVAC sales experience.
- College Degree preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License required.
