Responsibilities
- Assist with outdoor yard work including trimming bushes, raking leaves, and watering plants and planting plants to maintain a tidy and attractive landscape.
- Support indoor housework tasks such as cleaning common areas, organizing supplies, and assisting with light repairs or maintenance.
- Help with basic gardening activities like planting flowers or vegetables and watering garden beds.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor pathways, patios, and entryways by sweeping
- Support organization efforts by sorting and filing household items or tools for easy access.
- Follow safety guidelines during all yard and housework activities to ensure a secure environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors about completed tasks and any supplies or tools needed for upcoming work.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for hands-on tasks.
- Basic knowledge of yard care equipment such as trimmers, or gardening tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating basic equipment safely.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in completing chores efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily responsibilities effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse community members or team members.
- Prior experience in housework or yard work is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
