Responsibilities:• Shape and execute portions of software for new and existing devices, collaborating cross-functionally to comprehend needs and requirements.• Engage in the establishment of schedules and tasks, facilitating the execution, completion, and delivery of software.• Apply robust software engineering expertise to design and implement software architectures, influencing the processes and methodologies utilized by the team.• Develop, debug, and test software components in a Linux environment for deployment in medical products, employing modern C design patterns, strong object-oriented principles, and software evaluation tools.• Harness software interfaces to control peripheral devices, with a focus on WiFi and Bluetooth radios.• Participate in formal documentation processes for requirements generation, software architecture, and detailed designs.• Research and create innovative features and functions that will redefine healthcare for the future.• Contribute to the sustaining engineering effort for existing products and participate in the development of future products.• Utilize your knowledge of Python, networking, cyber security, and software development to drive results and innovation.
