Title Processor

We are looking for an experienced Title Processor to join our team in Somerset, Kentucky. In this role, you will handle various aspects of title processing and closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that supports real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:
• Review and prepare title commitments and related documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct tract book searches and analyze title records to verify ownership and identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with escrow officers to process transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Examine real estate titles to identify encumbrances, liens, or other restrictions.
• Coordinate title insurance issuance and ensure all necessary requirements are met.
• Communicate with clients, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate smooth closing processes.
• Address and resolve title-related challenges in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations throughout the title closing process.
• Stay updated on industry standards and practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Organize and manage documentation for title closings and maintain accurate records.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in title processing, closing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in conducting tract book searches and reviewing title commitments.
• Strong knowledge of real estate title examination and escrow processing.
• Familiarity with title insurance and related legal documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and legal professionals.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing title and escrow processes.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve title-related issues efficiently.
