Technical Accountant

Position Summary:

The Technical/External Reporting Accountant will provide support for SEC reporting, technical accounting, and compliance, including debt accounting, derivatives, and other complex accounting transactions. This role ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and footnotes in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and related footnotes.
• Apply technical accounting knowledge to complex transactions (e.g., debt, derivatives, revenue recognition).
• Support HFM reporting and other consolidation tools.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Assist with month-end close as needed for reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Experience with HFM or other financial consolidation/reporting systems.
• CPA designation highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently on complex reporting tasks.
