Tax Preparer

We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Paoli, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in handling tax preparation and ensuring compliance for individual and corporate clients. If you have experience with tax software and a strong understanding of tax regulations, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Complete and file 1099 forms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Digitize and organize tax documents to maintain a paperless workflow environment.
• Utilize tax software, including Lacerte, to streamline preparation processes.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and resolve potential discrepancies.
• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documents to identify and address errors or omissions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws to provide accurate guidance.
• Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed during tax season.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual and corporate returns.
• Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software and intermediate Excel skills.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to maintain a regular work schedule with occasional overtime during peak tax season.
• Commitment to maintaining a paperless and efficient work environment.
