Tax Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves overseeing tax compliance, managing provisions, and ensuring adherence to federal and state tax regulations. Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and review of annual income tax provisions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage corporate tax returns, including federal, partnership, and S-Corp filings.
• Oversee sales tax calculations and reporting to maintain compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tax strategies and improve efficiency.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on complex tax matters to support decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to all federal tax laws and regulations while mitigating risks.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff in their growth and development.
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changes in tax laws to keep the organization informed.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Strong expertise in federal tax laws and regulations.
• Proven experience with partnership tax returns and S-Corp filings.
• Proficiency in preparing annual income tax provisions.
• Familiarity with sales tax processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
