Systems Engineer

We’re hiring an experienced Azure/Entra/O365 Administrator to support a hybrid enterprise environment (5,000 users / 500–600 servers). This role is responsible for managing Microsoft cloud infrastructure, identity, and collaboration services (Azure, Entra ID, O365), as well as on-premise systems like Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. This role is onsite in Appleton, WI.

Key Focus Areas:

• Identity & access management (MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, SSO/ADFS)
• Azure administration & automation (PowerShell scripting)
• O365 support: Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams
• Security risk identification & mitigation within Microsoft cloud environments
• Support for Hybrid Exchange, SAML integrations, certificate/secret renewals
• Expert-level knowledge of DNS, DHCP, AD, Group Policy
• Load balancer configuration & maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Office 365 services for a hybrid enterprise environment.

• Oversee identity and access management systems, including conditional access and group policies.

• Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to automate processes and enhance system efficiency.

• Maintain and troubleshoot on-premises systems such as Active Directory and hybrid Exchange environments.

• Identify and mitigate security risks within Microsoft cloud platforms to ensure robust data protection.

• Provide support for collaboration tools such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

• Configure and maintain load balancers to optimize system performance and reliability.

• Handle certificate and secret renewals to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and improve system operations.

• Monitor and manage server infrastructure to support 5,000 users and 500–600 servers.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or engineering roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and Office 365.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server, and Citrix technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise environments with a mix of cloud and on-premises systems.
• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for process automation.
• Proven ability to identify and address security risks within cloud environments.
• Experience with load balancer configuration and maintenance.
• Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments and certificate management.
