Supply Chain Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of a dynamic retail organization. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing purchase orders, overseeing inventory, and ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Responsibilities:
• Create and manage purchase orders with both domestic and international suppliers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
• Monitor the progress of orders, addressing delays or discrepancies by maintaining clear communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Coordinate shipping schedules with freight forwarders and logistics providers, while preparing and verifying essential shipping documents such as invoices and customs forms.
• Track shipments during transit, resolving any issues to ensure deliveries meet deadlines.
• Analyze inventory levels across warehouses to identify shortages or surplus and collaborate with relevant teams to adjust forecasts.
• Assist in conducting cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
• Update and maintain supply chain data in NetSuite and utilize Excel for generating reports and tracking key production metrics.
• Collaborate with inventory planners and sales teams to review forecasts and align inventory needs with company goals.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain logistics, management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in global supply chain processes, including forecasting and production planning.
• Strong skills in managing inventory levels and addressing discrepancies.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling documentation and tracking shipments.
• Familiarity with international shipping procedures and customs documentation.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and resolve issues proactively.
