Growing client located in the Montgomery Country area seeks a Staff Accountant with payroll tax experience. We are ideally looking for someone who can prepare and manage financial records, prepare payroll taxes, and maintain the general ledger. This Staff Accountant will also oversee all accounting procedures and instruct on general financial activities.
Primary Responsibilities
· Support AR/AP functions
· Month End Close
· Account Reconciliations
· Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
· Journal Entries
· Assist with cash flow statements
· Prepare balance sheet statements
· Ad hoc projects as requested
· Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Requirements
The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· 1 years' experience in public/private accounting
· Strong US GAAP knowledge
· Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
