Sr. Plant Controller

Our client, an industry-leading, mid-size manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Sr. Plant Controller. This is a key member of the Sr. Leadership team and will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and providing strategic insights to support business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Lead all site-level financial operations, serving as the primary financial partner to plant and corporate leadership.

·      Manage and participate in the monthly financial reporting process, including preparation and review of plant-level results.

·      Full responsibility for the plant’s Balance Sheet, P& L, and Cash Flow statements.

·      Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity and working capital management.

·      Oversee revenue recognition and percentage-to-completion accounting for projects/contracts.

·      Lead annual external audit processes and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with all requirements.

·      Manage bank reporting obligations, including preparation and submission of covenant compliance reporting.

·      Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.

·      Partner with operations to analyze variances, identify cost savings, and drive financial performance.

·      Support special projects, private equity reporting, and other ad hoc analyses as required.

·      Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial guidance to leadership and ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly desired.

·      8 years of related accounting and finance experience in a MANUFACTURING ENVIORNMENT REQUIRED!

·      Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.

·      Experience with private equity ownership strongly desired.

·      Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

·      Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

·      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
