Sr Operations Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Sr Operations Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial activities, including payroll, fixed assets, and account reconciliations. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
• Perform payroll and payroll liability reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Conduct month-end close processes, including account and bank reconciliations.
• Support fixed asset accounting, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
• Utilize Workday to manage and streamline accounting processes.
• Provide support for audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong skills in preparing and posting journal entries.
• Demonstrated ability to perform account and bank reconciliations with precision.
• Experience in reconciling payroll and payroll liabilities.
• Familiarity with Workday or similar accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
