We’re hiring a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer (L3) to join a high-impact team focused on modernizing infrastructure and automating operational workflows for a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a working lead role—not a project management position—ideal for a senior engineer who thrives in hands-on technical work and enjoys mentoring others.
In this role, you’ll be embedded in a fast-paced engineering team responsible for supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure, automating manual processes, and driving service modernization. You’ll work closely with service owners, developers, and junior engineers to troubleshoot issues, refactor legacy code, and migrate critical workflows to Azure. Your day-to-day will include writing and reviewing PowerShell and C# code, analyzing telemetry data using KQL, and contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions.
You’ll also play a key role in maintaining compliance and operational excellence by supporting incident workflows (IcM), improving monitoring coverage, and documenting best practices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, building automation from the ground up, and helping others grow their technical skills.
Note: This role is only open to candidates who are eligible to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis. C2C (Corp-to-Corp) arrangements and third-party submissions will not be considered. Candidates must meet these employment requirements to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Refactor legacy code and analyze service architecture (C#)
- Migrate workflows and infrastructure to Azure
- Automate manual processes using scripting and cloud-native tools
- Support incident workflows (IcM), telemetry, and compliance initiatives
- Leverage KQL (Kusto Query Language) to analyze telemetry data, monitor resource health, and support compliance reporting across Azure environments
- Collaborate with junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Write and review technical documentation, project plans, and code
You must have advanced and specific experience with each of the below bullets to be considered for this role.
- Strong proficiency in C# development, including service architecture, code refactoring, and workflow migration.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation tasks, including patching and provisioning.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Azure Apps and Azure Functions.
- Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for monitoring and compliance purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to automate processes using tools such as Azure Automation and Logic Apps.
- Familiarity with incident management tools like IcM and Azure DevOps.
- Solid experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation and maintaining high-quality code.
- Proven ability to mentor and support engineers with less experience in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools and orchestration platforms
