My client, a commercial real estate company located in Union, has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant. The salary range is 65-85k
- Complete understanding and familiarity of all Balance Sheet accounts.
- Experience Supervising staff members.
- General Ledger Maintenance.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial statements.
- Create and coordinate with property managers to prepare annual budgets.
- Review reconciliation of capital/distribution accounts.
- Preparation of Financing/Sale packages to Banks/Brokers.
- Prepare template JE for Insurance and RE tax expense.
- Respond to all bank reporting inquiries.
- Prepare all Township/City inquiries real estate tax appeals.
- Maintain schedules for Deferred Leasing Commissions and Deferred Mtge Costs.
- Work/Communicate with outside accountants regarding tax return preparation.
- Provide support for legal, management and accounting departments.
- JE preparation for Sales/Financing transactions.
The ideal candidate will have
- Two years of experience in Real Estate Accounting
- Knowledge of Yardi software and must have above average Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree (B. S. - Accounting) from four-year college/university or relevant accounting experience
