Social Media Content Creator

Robert Half is partnering with a leading national insurance and financial services company in search of a Social Media Content Creator with a passion for video-first platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and a knack for turning cultural trends into share-worthy moments. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of producers, strategists, and creatives to evolve the company’s social media voice through smart, funny, and engaging video content.

Location: Remote

Duration: 5 months

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay: $35-38/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit original short-form videos for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Create entertaining, on-brand content that engages and grows the company’s social following
• React quickly to trends, memes, and pop culture moments with real-time content
• Collaborate with internal teams to support larger brand campaigns, product launches, and internal initiatives
• Participate in content campaigns that range from influencer partnerships to animated brand characters
• Contribute ideas to help shape and scale the brand’s short-form video strategy
  

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience managing or creating content for social platforms within a brand or agency setting
• Hands-on experience with video production and editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere), plus strong familiarity with native creator tools
• Up-to-date on social trends and platform behaviors—and able to jump on them fast
• Strong writing skills, a good sense of humor, and confidence presenting creative ideas
• Collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on paid social content and/or influencer partnerships
• Portfolio of content showing social-first thinking and short-form storytelling
• Knowledge of character-driven or scripted content creation

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
