What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sharepoint Administrator position at Robert Half?
Responsibilities:
• Migrate data from the existing SharePoint site to the newly established platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Organize, clean up, and maintain data by addressing duplicate files and streamlining folder structures.
• Collaborate with an onsite engineer to coordinate tasks and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and support for the SharePoint environment, addressing any technical issues as they arise.
• Prioritize and safeguard sensitive documents, including corporate, HR, and executive reports, during the transition process.
• Optimize SharePoint performance by monitoring and tuning database systems.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to the SharePoint environment based on best practices and organizational needs.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards and company policies throughout the migration process.
• Proven experience in SharePoint Administration, including data migration and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
• Familiarity with database management tools such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL.
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimizing database systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to varying schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
• Preferred availability for hybrid or onsite work in San Antonio, Texas.
