Service Center Manager

We are hiring for a contract to hire position for a Service Center Manager. This person oversees every facet of service center operations, ensuring sales goals are achieved, products meet quality standards, and customers receive excellent service. This position requires effective leadership, operational know-how, and a dedication to fostering a safe, well-organized, and efficient workplace. The Service Center Manager is instrumental in driving the center’s profitability and success while upholding the company’s values and standards.

Job Functions:

• Oversee all aspects of service center performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement continuous improvements to guarantee products consistently meet or exceed customer quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment throughout the facility.
• Monitor and assess staff performance, ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Consistently enforce company policies and procedures, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the primary representative of the service center, exemplifying the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in interactions with employees, clients, and community members.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering timely and accurate service.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Review work orders, production schedules, and reports to develop accurate production estimates and schedules.
• Ensure precise work order processing within the Company ERP system.
• Utilize the ERP system to monitor, optimize, and enhance operational performance.
• Drive achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the service center, identifying and correcting areas of underperformance.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience overseeing a facility where service excellence is essential to organizational success.
• Minimum 5 years’ background in manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of leading by example.
• Demonstrated experience in personnel leadership, development, and management.
• Proven ability to delegate responsibilities effectively and achieve results through department managers.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing machinery, including maintenance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, with the capability to learn and operate NetSuite.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Ability to interpret measurements and perform basic mathematical calculations with fractions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes relevant to the facility.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required and a willingness to be available to support team needs.
