SEO Strategist

We are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance client visibility and achieve measurable results. This position requires a strong understanding of digital strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization tailored to diverse business needs.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end SEO engagements in collaboration with client strategy teams, ensuring successful project execution.
• Develop customized SEO solutions that drive results and address client-specific challenges across various industries.
• Create impactful, data-driven presentations that include insights, competitive analysis, and actionable strategies for audiences ranging from managers to executives.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of client business objectives and explain how SEO strategies—both technical and content-focused—can deliver measurable financial and strategic benefits.
• Provide thought leadership by articulating clear points of view and guiding clients through complex SEO concepts.
• Author detailed technical documentation, analytical reports, and comprehensive campaign strategies.
• Address project challenges effectively, including negotiating changes and ensuring alignment with client expectations.

• 8 plus years of experience in SEO consulting and digital strategy for medium to large organizations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proficiency in analyzing data and generating insightful reports to guide client decision-making.

• Strong passion for understanding how search impacts client brands across owned and external platforms.

• Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives using tools like PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with SEO trends and innovations.

• Hands-on experience with web content management systems (CMS) and digital strategy tools.
