Senior IT Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our team in Hampden County, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in systems engineering and expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft technologies, and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration and maintenance of Active Directory, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

• Administer and support Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 applications for efficient communication and collaboration.

• Implement and manage VMware solutions to enhance virtualization and system performance.

• Monitor system performance and address any issues to maintain operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to develop and execute strategies for system upgrades and improvements.

• Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices across all IT systems.

• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.

• Document procedures and configurations for future reference and training purposes.

• Proven experience in managing Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 applications.
• Knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with IT security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
