Responsibilities will be comprised of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. The Financial Analyst role is a permanent employment opportunity in the North Dallas, Texas. A candidate who's highly-skilled in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management is wanted by an innovative team as a key business partner.How you will make an impact- Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting- Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations- Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending- Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans- Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support- Compile and monitor forecasting reports- Survey performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities- Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations- Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process Requirements - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills- Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)- Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience preferable)- Strong problem solving and analytical skills- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field- Knowledge of US GAAP- Comprehensive knowledge of SEC Financial Reporting- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
