Risk Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Trade Allocations Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in overseeing trade allocations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and mitigating operational risks. This position requires a strong understanding of financial markets and regulatory standards to support institutional clients effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily trade allocation process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Collaborate with clients to address manual trade allocation challenges and meet regulatory requirements.

• Facilitate and process trade corrections while maintaining compliance standards.

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis to resolve trade discrepancies.

• Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

• Stay informed about regulatory updates and industry standards related to trade allocations.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for allocation procedures.

• Provide assistance to team members and contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.

• Support operational risk management initiatives through detailed analysis and reporting.

• Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external counterparties.

Bloomberg/TOMS/CTM

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in broker-dealer trade allocations or a comparable role.

- Fixed Income Trade Allocation Experience – Direct Bloomberg TOMS Allocation experience preferred

- Trade Correction Experience

- Fixed Income Trade Settlement Experience – DTCC and Fed settling trades both netting and trade for trade

- Experience resolving trade breaks

• Familiarity with securities regulations, compliance standards, and industry practices.

• Expertise in operational risk management and due diligence processes.

• Proficiency in Bloomberg and other financial systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
