Records Clerk

We are looking for a dedicated Records Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida, for a long-term contract position within the legal and insurance industry. In this role, you will primarily focus on scanning, organizing, and categorizing legal and insurance-related documents to ensure efficient records management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-structured document system and support the legal department's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Scan and digitize legal contracts, insurance claims, and policies into the document management system.

• Categorize and organize documents to improve accessibility and streamline workflow.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of scanned documents.

• Review contracts and other legal documents to verify completeness and correct categorization.

• Collaborate with the legal department to address document organization needs.

• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information.

• Perform quality checks on scanned documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.

• Assist in managing records to align with organizational compliance and standards.

• Provide updates and summaries of organized files to relevant stakeholders.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in records management or a related role.
• Proficiency in scanning and organizing files within document management systems.
• Familiarity with legal contracts, insurance claims, and policy documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to categorize and manage large volumes of documents efficiently.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive documents.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience in case management or legal research is a plus.
