What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at Robert Half?
Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly reviews of loans in process and those that have been denied.
• Perform monthly post-closing reviews of loan origination files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Complete monthly and quarterly loan servicing reviews to identify and address exceptions.
• Generate system reports and analyze data to confirm loan viability and potential risks.
• Review denied loans for adherence to CFPB and ECOA regulations.
• Assist in maintaining and updating procedures manuals to reflect current practices.
• Evaluate social media activities of loan officers on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Enter and correct data in both the origination system and company-specific software.
• Attend meetings with department managers to discuss findings and propose corrective actions.
• Support the Quality Control Analyst in drafting and refining written procedures for departmental tasks.
• High school diploma with some college coursework completed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
• Familiarity with Portable Document Format (PDF) tools.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, including attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with various systems.
• Knowledge of mortgage regulatory laws and industry standards.
• Capability to present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
