Purchaser

We are looking for a motivated Purchaser to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will oversee procurement activities, ensuring the efficient sourcing and timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at multitasking to support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities:
• Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering materials to meet company needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information and procurement transactions.
• Track orders and deliveries while addressing any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting future supply requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with operational goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.
• Stay informed about market trends and new products to enhance purchasing strategies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Strong background in purchasing functions, including sourcing and procurement.
• Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven capability to manage inventory levels and forecast supply needs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement policies and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for purchasing activities.
