Purchaser

We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of materials, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing practices. You will play a vital role in supporting operational efficiency and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and materials.

• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain long-term relationships with trusted vendors.

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare pricing options.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the organization.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to avoid shortages.

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand material requirements and specifications.

• Analyze purchasing data and generate reports to support decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during procurement activities.

• Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or discrepancies with purchased items.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in analyzing purchasing trends and generating detailed reports.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in purchasing activities.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
