PT General Manager

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Part Time General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our team in Oakland, California. This contract position requires a proactive leader who can balance administrative tasks, operational management, and staff development while fostering a safe and productive environment. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide operational activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.

• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, handling deposits, and managing inventory.

• Lead daily operations while empowering supervisors to maintain smooth workflows.

• Organize and conduct safety training sessions to promote workplace safety standards.

• Address HR-related inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold quality standards.

• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.

• Manage financial functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll systems.

• Utilize tools such as CRM systems and accounting software to streamline operations.

• Previous experience in a managerial role with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong background in customer service, preferably within the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations; certification as a food safety manager is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial software systems such as ADP, Concur, and Dentrix.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and inventory management tools.
• Capability to conduct safety training and enforce workplace compliance standards.
