Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams on projects, identifying root causes, system issues, process gaps, and opportunities along with providing viable solutions.
- Conduct research and gather data to ensure current and relevant information is available for decision-making and reporting.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring each project's data elements are up-to-date and accurately reflect the project's status.
- Facilitate meetings with leadership to inform progress and/or gain consensus on next steps for assigned portfolio or initiative activities.
- Collaborate effectively with partners, facilitating and influencing to yield substantive and relevant descriptions and other critical information needs.
- Develop solutions and recommendations that will increase efficiency and improve business processes, projects, and programs.
- Create and deliver storyboards (e.g., process flows/connections, data-driven insights) and management presentations.
- Drive a continuous process improvement team environment, prioritizing and influencing to achieve desired business results.
- Provide effective consultation to all levels of management, using the latest industry-standard processes and internal resources.
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Crime and Financial Crime Compliance
- Proficiency in Program Management and Cross Functional Project Management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management methodologies, preferably Agile
- Capability to design efficient financial processes
- Skilled in creating and maintaining status reports
- Excellent skills in Data Gathering and analysis
- Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Understanding of financial regulations and legislation
- Willingness to continue learning and improving
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity
- Detail oriented certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is preferred
- Knowledge of the financial industry's current trends and developments
- Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience in risk management and compliance
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
