Project Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organized and meticulous Project Coordinator to join our team in Forest Hill, Maryland. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting estimating and production processes within the construction industry. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to project success while working closely with a dynamic team to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate construction estimates, including detailed costs and special orders, to support project planning.
• Coordinate production management activities, ensuring smooth project flow and minimizing operational challenges.
• Collaborate with the sales team to deliver precise and timely estimates for client proposals.
• Manage administrative operations such as procurement follow-ups, vendor communications, and maintaining Buildertrend or other organizational systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to development initiatives.
• Take ownership of estimating responsibilities, reducing the workload of senior team members by approximately 15–20 hours per week.
• Communicate effectively with team members to anticipate and address project needs.
• Support the overall success of projects by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
• Assist in maintaining operational clarity and driving results through proactive coordination.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in estimating or project coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a small-business environment with adaptability and resilience.
• Proactive mindset, capable of anticipating needs and addressing challenges independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction documents, schedules, and residential construction processes.
• Experience with administrative procedures and office management.
• Service-oriented attitude with a focus on teamwork and initiative.
