Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize procurement processes, and drive vendor consolidation efforts. The ideal candidate will contribute to the company's success by implementing innovative strategies, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive cost savings.
• Lead vendor consolidation efforts across 600 vendors to streamline contracts and optimize spending.
• Implement performance scorecards to monitor vendor effectiveness and ensure accountability.
• Oversee the setup and management of purchase order systems, including invoice management solutions.
• Conduct operational security assessments to identify areas for improvement and enhance procurement processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and implement best practices.
• Manage contracts and negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of procurement operations.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for procurement strategies.
• Utilize data analytics tools, such as Tableau, to monitor procurement performance and inform decision-making.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Proven expertise in managing purchase orders, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of procurement functions and buying processes within the banking industry.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable contract terms.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools like Tableau to evaluate procurement performance.
• Experience in implementing technology solutions to streamline manual processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address procurement challenges.
