Privacy Risk Project Manager

Robert Half Legal is collaborating with a major auto manufacturer in their search for a Privacy Risk Project Manager. This exciting, hybrid opportunity offers a chance to play a crucial role in managing privacy risk and ensuring compliance across legal, IT, and business functions.

Responsibilities: This role will focus on managing the workload and follow-up stemming from the legal assessment results, expected in the coming weeks. Core responsibilities include:

• Reviewing Assessment Findings: Analyzing legal assessment results and working cross-functionally to identify areas of risk.
• Risk Mitigation and Gap Closure: Driving closure of identified gaps or ensuring mitigation plans are documented and tracked effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Legal, IT, Compliance, and business units to execute remediation plans and ensure alignment.
• Leadership Reporting: Developing reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with visibility into risk mitigation progress.
• Audit-Ready Documentation: Ensuring accountability and creating audit-ready evidence of remediation activities to support compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong Privacy Knowledge: Expertise in privacy laws, regulations, and standards, particularly in a corporate environment.
• Project Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and drive successful outcomes.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Efficiently translating legal assessment results into actionable next steps while managing competing priorities.

Contract Details

• Duration: Initial contract of approximately 3-6 months with a high likelihood of extension. The goal is to convert the identified candidate into a full-time role by the 6-month mark.
• Hybrid Schedule: Requires working 4 days onsite, with one day remote per workweek.
