Our client, a respected leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst to join their high-performing external reporting team. What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
• Collaborate across departments to gather, analyze, and validate data used in external reporting and investor materials
• Support SOX compliance efforts and coordinate with internal and external auditors during review and audit cycles
• Draft and maintain technical accounting documentation, including whitepapers, memos, and policy updates
• Research and analyze complex accounting issues with guidance from management, offering recommendations on appropriate treatment
• Help improve financial reporting processes through automation and enhanced controls

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred
• CPA required
• 3 years of experience in public accounting or public company financial reporting
• Big 4 or large firm experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards
• Experience with Workiva or similar reporting software is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and during peak reporting periods
