PC Support Technician

PC Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves assisting with PC imaging, equipment distribution, and other entry-level technical tasks to support at refresh lease program. The position is ideal for individuals with basic technical skills who are eager to contribute to a hands-on IT environment.

Responsibilities:

• Unbox and inventory new equipment upon arrival.

• Utilize Software Center Configuration Manager to image PCs and ensure proper setup.

• Collaborate with senior technical staff to deliver and set up equipment across various city locations.

• Inspect and document physical condition of both incoming and outgoing equipment.

• Perform disk wiping and prepare devices for vendor returns.

• Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues using standard tools such as Dell and Microsoft utilities.

• Provide customer service support by addressing minor technical concerns.

• Handle Tier 1 support calls and manage tickets within the ServiceNow system.

• Maintain organized records of equipment and processes to ensure smooth operations.

• Familiarity with computer hardware, imaging tools, and configuration management systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
• Ability to work under general supervision and follow technical instructions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage equipment inventory and documentation.
• Customer service experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel locally to assist with equipment setup at different sites.
• Experience with tools such as Active Directory, Dell technologies, or similar systems preferred.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
