Payroll Administrator / Labor and Compliance

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator specializing in labor compliance to join our dynamic team in Ontario, California. This role requires expertise in certified payroll processing, contract analysis, and labor law compliance, ensuring all payroll operations meet federal and state regulations. Responsibilities:
• Process certified payroll efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
• Review and interpret contracts to determine applicable federal or state labor regulations.
• Complete and submit labor compliance forms while monitoring apprentice ratios.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll functions and provide cross-training support.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of payroll data.
• Provide support and guidance to the team regarding payroll and labor compliance issues.
• Adapt to new processes and systems as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in certified payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, prevailing wages, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to read and analyze contracts to identify federal or state labor requirements.
• Familiarity with labor compliance forms and monitoring apprentice ratios.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to shift priorities based on project urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team setting.
• Open to learning new payroll processes and participating in cross-training initiatives.
• Focused and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
