Part Time Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage essential financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong ability to reconcile accounts effectively. The role is roughly 20 hours a week

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.

• Manage account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate and updated records.

• Monitor and verify financial data for consistency and reliability.

• Collaborate with other team members to address any financial discrepancies or issues.

• Generate financial reports as required to support business operations.

• Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

• Provide support for audits and financial reviews as needed.

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
