We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Network Analyst located in Coconut Creek, Florida, United States. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, with key responsibilities including the processing of customer applications, the maintenance of accurate customer records, and the resolution of customer inquiries. As a Network Analyst, you will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and define networking problems, identify alternative solutions, estimate consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals
- Handle Cisco Switching technologies and VMWare virtualization platforms
- Manage LAN / WAN, Internet, and Intranet networking characteristics, protocols, technologies, applications, and integration concepts
- Maintain knowledge of Aruba, Cisco, and Brocade platforms, as well as Fortinet Technologies (Fortigate)
- Operate personal computers, operating systems, and system analysis and design techniques
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Provide excellent customer service and multi-task while working with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Learn new software quickly and independently
- Use critical thinking skills to arrive at solutions and suggest improvements to processes
- Clearly communicate and understand information in English, both orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Proficiency in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
- Familiarity with Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies
- Experience with Firewall Technologies
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Understanding of Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware
- Expertise in Configuration Management and Deployments
- Familiarity with LAN Vs. WAN concepts
- Proficiency in managing LAN - Local Area Network and WAN - Wide Area Network
- Experience with VMware Technologies, VMware Infrastructure, and VMware
- Knowledge of Network Virtualization
- Proficiency in using Cisco Catalyst Switches and Cisco Hardware
