Mass Tort Paralegal

We are looking for a dedicated Entry-Level Paralegal to join our team in Alton, Illinois. This role is ideal for individuals with 2–4 years of experience in mass tort or personal injury litigation who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As part of our nationally recognized firm, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys and ensuring smooth case management.

Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys in preparing case files, conducting discovery, and organizing trial materials for mass tort litigation.
• Manage and maintain client medical records, legal documents, and case files with precision.
• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, co-counsel, and other legal professionals.
• Draft and edit pleadings, correspondence, and court filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize legal software and tools to streamline case management and document organization.
• Coordinate schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submission of legal documents.
• Conduct research and compile relevant information to support case development.
• Collaborate with the legal team to address client inquiries and provide updates on case progress.
• Support attorneys in managing high-volume cases with efficiency and attention to detail.
• 2–4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in mass tort or personal injury litigation.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in mass tort or class action cases is highly desirable.
