Loan Processing Analyst

We are looking for a Loan Processing Analyst to join a dynamic finance consulting firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity to grow within the organization, with potential advancement into underwriting roles. The ideal candidate will assist with loan processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:
• Review financial statements and assess creditworthiness to support loan approval processes.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to gather necessary documentation from merchants.
• Match loan applications with suitable lenders based on specific deal requirements.
• Address client inquiries and resolve complaints in a meticulous and efficient manner.
• Assist lenders in setting up new transactions and ensure all required documentation is complete.
• Conduct credit checks and background reviews to evaluate potential risks.
• Draft contracts for new deals and ensure they meet underwriting standards before funding.
• Work closely with banking partners to verify all required paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Communicate effectively with clients, answering their questions and guiding them through the loan process.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree will be considered.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis or loan processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with basic functionality (pivot tables not required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry.
• Familiarity with loan products and credit evaluation processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to assess financial risks and make informed recommendations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
