What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Underwriter position at Robert Half?
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant. The Underwriter will evaluate credit, capacity, and collateral documentation, verify missing or deficient information, and ensure data is consistent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review all loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate the capacity, credit, and collateral for consistency and compliance.
- Properly condition loans for missing or deficient documentation.
- Manage a pipeline of up to 40 active loans at varying stages.
- Re-prioritize work to meet daily and weekly volume goals.
- Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of relevant underwriting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel skills a plus.
- Strong data entry skills.
