IT Technician (Level 2)

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician (Level 2) to join our team in the Quad Cities. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will provide both hands-on and remote technical support to ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Provide support for end-user provisioning, including setup and configuration of devices for new team members.

• Manage and maintain Active Directory and Office 365 accounts, ensuring secure and efficient user access.

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including wireless protocols and cable assemblies.

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and address system-wide challenges.

• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing user inquiries and providing clear technical guidance.

• Ensure compliance with IT standards and security protocols in all technical operations.

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of wireless application protocols (WAP) and wireless personal area networks (WPAN).

• Maintain and utilize Norton Utilities for system optimization and reliability.

• Document technical processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in IT support or a related field, with a focus on troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
• Familiarity with wireless technologies, including WAP and WPAN, as well as cable assembly maintenance.
• Proficiency in tools such as Norton Utilities for system diagnostics and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both remote and onsite settings.
• Preferred certifications such as CompTIA A or Network to demonstrate technical expertise.
• Background in computer science, information technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
