We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Sparks, Nevada. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise on HR policies and programs, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise leaders and employees on company policies, values, and HR programs to ensure consistent application and understanding.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to manage the recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Oversee onboarding activities to deliver a welcoming and seamless experience for new hires.
- Provide training and support on HR topics such as benefits, performance management, and company policies.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in addressing performance and attendance issues, including administering corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with plant and corporate teams to manage employee relations, including conducting investigations when necessary.
- Support change management initiatives and foster alignment with HR strategies.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution and investigations.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Paycom and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment and onboarding processes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Experience in training delivery and providing guidance on HR policies and benefits.
- Background in change management and aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
