HR Generalist

Salary: $33.25 to $38.50 hourly

Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Arlington, Virginia, on a Contract-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive employee experience. This position is within the financial services industry, offering opportunities to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support benefits administration processes, including coordination and communication with employees.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
• Maintain accurate and organized employee records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll and 401k-related tasks, ensuring timely and precise processing.
• Provide guidance on employee leave types, including parental leave and other organizational policies.
• Create and update process documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate on compliance efforts to meet regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize HRIS systems for reporting and data management.
• Address employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in benefits administration and coordination, including payroll integration.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and employee relations best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage FMLA and other leave policies effectively.
• Competency in using ADP for payroll functions.
