NOTE: This role is FULLY ON-SITE in Ames, IA
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Technician to join our team in Ames, Iowa. In this fully on-site role, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth daily operations for our organization. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact on IT services and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve printer problems to ensure uninterrupted functionality.
Assist with basic Office 365 troubleshooting and user support.
Perform hardware and asset management tasks, including inventory tracking and maintenance.
Utilize Intune to manage and support mobile devices and application configurations.
Address technical issues involving Windows, Mac, and Apple devices.
Collaborate with team members to deploy and configure new hardware and software.
Maintain and update Active Directory for user account management.
Ensure proper documentation of resolved issues and technical procedures.
Support the organization by managing IT configurations and implementing basic solutions.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Active Directory.
Experience with troubleshooting and supporting Mac and Apple devices.
Knowledge of computer hardware and configuration management.
Familiarity with Intune for device and application management.
Ability to resolve technical issues related to printers and deployments.
Skilled in working with Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Understanding of Android development and Apple device functionality.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills to assist non-technical users.
