Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Germantown, Wisconsin. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a mission-driven organization, working in a collaborative and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background, proficiency in QuickBooks, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial records and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee or assist in transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
• Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support budgeting processes and fund accounting activities.
• Assist with operational needs and participate in special projects as required.
• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a mission-driven organizational setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop; familiarity with QuickBooks Online is an advantage.
• Experience in fund accounting or working within a mission-driven organizational environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, mission-oriented office setting.
• Completion of Safe Environment training and successful completion of a screening process.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
