Fractional CFO (FP&A)

We are looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented finance expert who can provide strategic leadership in financial planning and analysis (FP& A) while ensuring seamless financial operations during a key transitional period. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering actionable insights and guiding executive decision-making through robust financial management.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the FP& A cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Conduct detailed cash flow analysis to optimize financial resources and ensure liquidity.
• Provide executive-level financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, monthly budgets, and capital management plans.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain the integrity of financial data within business systems.
• Utilize tools such as QuickBooks Online to manage and streamline financial operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, including FP& A and executive-level decision support.
• Expertise in cash flow analysis, capital management, and month-end close activities.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and managing operating budgets.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools and systems, including QuickBooks Online.
• Proven ability to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations in a contract or fractional capacity.
• Solid understanding of business systems and financial compliance requirements.
