Financial Project Manager

Overview: Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced ERP Finance Systems Advisor to lead the selection of a next-generation ERP platform for our client in the restaurant industry. This role is central to enhancing our client's financial operations through system-driven efficiency, clear reporting, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with finance and accounting leadership to analyze current processes and define ERP requirements aligned with restaurant operations.

- Identify system needs across multi-location operations, including intercompany transactions, general ledger structure, and centralized reporting.

- Evaluate ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, Acumatica) with robust financial and operational features.

- Ensure ERP functionality supports workflows such as bank reconciliations, construction and leasehold improvements, lease accounting and management, and fixed assets.

- Facilitate vendor demos and comparisons, manage RFP processes, and support the company’s negotiation with ERP vendors

- Build a compelling business case for ERP investment, highlighting cost efficiency, audit readiness, data integrity, and executive visibility

Qualifications:

- Strong experience in finance/accounting systems within restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments.

- Deep understanding of operational finance across multiple units, including centralized reporting and interdepartmental workflows.

- Demonstrated success evaluating or implementing ERP platforms.

- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and executive alignment.

- CPA, CMA, or similar credential preferred.
