A well-established manufacturing company in the South Bay area is conducting a search for an experienced Finance Director. This role will lead all financial and accounting operations for the facility, partnering closely with site and corporate leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing finance expertise, operational support experience, and the ability to drive performance through accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial and accounting activities for the facility
- Provide strategic financial guidance to site and corporate leadership
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies and regulations
- Monitor key financial metrics and support initiatives aimed at improving operational performance
- Manage transactional finance functions including AP, AR, and fixed assets
- Review and analyze cost structures, variances, and production-related financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic recommendations as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Manufacturing industry experience is required
- Strong background in cost accounting, operational finance, and production-driven financial analysis
- Experience with large-scale ERP systems (any major platform)
- Proficiency with financial reporting and planning tools such as Hyperion, Power BI, or similar
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with leadership
Salary : $170,000 - $215,000
