Finance Reporting Manager

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently working with a growing company in Clayton searching for a Financial Reporting Manager. This role will assist with corporate accounting functions and be responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. The Financial Reporting Manager will play an essential role in fostering the company's rapid growth and the maturation of its finance function.

Key responsibilities:
• Prepare external financial reporting ensuring compliance with external regulations.
• Research and implement changes in accounting regulations and reporting standards.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors.
• Assist with month, quarter and annual closing activities.
• Manage the accounting and reporting for debt and equity transactions ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with continuous improvement, internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Assist with the implementation of new financial, reporting and accounting software.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA required.
• 5 years public company audit experience, SEC reporting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• ERP system experience, intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerBI and AI knowledge are plusses.
