We are looking for a Field Service Technician I to join our growing team in North to Central Denver. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced traffic enforcement systems and surveillance equipment. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical projects and collaborate with engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automated traffic enforcement systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct basic electrical tasks, including wiring and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components.
• Configure and program speed and red-light enforcement systems to meet operational standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with field equipment and network systems.
• Maintain organized records of equipment inventory and service-related documentation.
• Handle field equipment setup, including swapping batteries and managing hardware installations.
• Safeguard and manage tools and truck stock parts required for field operations.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and engineering teams to address system performance concerns and implement solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and quality procedures while working independently in the field.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and operational goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 10.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, including IP configuration and router programming.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in outdoor environments, while collaborating effectively with teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate specialized equipment such as bucket trucks.
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• At least one year of experience in a related technical field.
